Creative New Zealand

Creative New Zealand (CNZ) is committed to nurturing a strong and dynamic kiwi arts culture that is recognised both here and internationally.

CNZ wanted an engaging, functional site that would hone both internal and external communication. We needed to satisfy some core goals; making funding information easy to find, relevant and appropriate to the user, and to showcase some of the incredible work being produced by New Zealand artists with assistance from CNZ.

Springload were asked to produce a visual design that was on brand, beautiful and a breeze to navigate. We worked closely with Optimal Usability to ensure we created the best possible solution that would fulfil the needs of CNZ and their users.

Creative New Zealand gave us the opportunity to leverage the work of New Zealand's top artists to create stunning slideshows and portfolios that include craft, dance, music and theatre.
Unlike its predecessor, this CNZ site makes full use of an exciting and dynamic colour palette which doubles as a navigation tool throughout the site.

It was a pleasure working with the team at Creative New Zealand and our industry colleagues at Optimal Usability and 3months to produce a site that is not only visually stunning but also a delight to use.
