Springload proudly continues our long-running association with the New Zealand Fringe Festival as it celebrates its 21st birthday. 2011 sees a whole new collection of emerging arts unleash on Wellington.
Creature, another long-time Fringe supporter, developed the fantastic 2011 brand. We relished the opportunity to sculpt and lovingly coax it onto the web for Fringers to explore the programme and plan their schedule.
Gui was tasked with representing the brand on the web. "Fringe branding reflects the contrast between brightness and colour on ordinarily dull day-to-day objects you might find in the streets.
We decided to bring a bit of this to the digital world and apply all the brand elements over a typically chaotic city wall".
You always know when you're at a Fringe event, and when the Festival is in town. Wellington Mayor Celia Wade-Brown said it best - "Fringe encourages cutting-edge, original performances from every culture, every age group and every level of experience, feeding Wellington's vibrant arts and events community with colour and talent."
