Interislander wanted to achieve two things with their new website; to increase the number of internet bookings and undergo a complete visual redesign.
The project started with in-depth research into customer segments, existing website stats and a one way trip to Picton. No, we didn’t swim back but we did check out the competition!
From this we got a very clear idea of what needed to be prioritised and what imagery should be used. We then did some extensive user testing and went on to develop a site of two halves. On the one side you have a very clean and clear booking system and on the other is a very beautiful, emotive and informative resource for travellers.
