Irina is at her happiest when she can make complicated things simple. Before coming to Springload, Irina was a front-end developer for SKB Kontur, one of the oldest IT companies in Russia. She worked across two product teams and organised the front-end section at her company’s conference.

She studied graphic design at Ural Federal University, and worked as a graphic designer for five years. She realised the technical aspects of design were of greater interest to her. So, she used her knowledge of typography, image-editing and colour theory to underpin the practical application of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

As a child, Irina dreamt of becoming a paleontologist. Somewhere along the way, this transformed into an interest in dragons. Don’t know the difference between Eastern and Western dragons? Ask Irina, she’ll enlighten you.
