Before joining Springload, Jess led enterprise scale projects and developed UX practices and cultures across government, universities and social enterprises. She is a UX researcher and designer who uses empathy and creativity to craft beautiful and intuitive experiences to make people’s lives better. Her UX process starts with the needs of real people and thorough qualitative and quantitative research. She is then able to translate insights to ideate and test innovative, relevant, authentic, and easy-to-use experiences.
Jess draws on design thinking, business model canvas and lean UX approaches. She loves to collaboratively sketch, brainstorm, talk to and learn from actual people, and is most engaged when facilitating conversations, challenging the status quo, and solving difficult problems.
Jess is currently working on user research for LIC, ACC, Inquisitive, and Inland Revenue.
